		<description>Hi Tim,

Today I came across your website and it has kept me from doing serious work some time now (-;
It is really great to read you talking in very reflective way about the possibilities and difficulties of youth participation. I am eager to join this discussion.
There are quite a few questions I am really interested in. A main feature of my job is to organize smaller and larger youth conferences to prepare youth participation at even larger international assemblies. One of your question in this post is: What is the right media to use for youth to make the greatest impact. And then how have these youth conferences to be designed to make the best use of creative media (video, drama, music) while at the same identifying the real issues of young people.
I know quite a few young people (and they are mostly from the Northern hemisphere), it is right to prepare young people for the participation in larger &quot;adult&quot; assemblies. But it is wrong to have a seperate youth contribution (declaration) or whatever because there can&#039;t be a unified youth opinion. Youth in itself is so diverse. I think that is another issue to discuss because it helps to clarify the sometimes conflicting goals of preparation and meaningful contribution.

Thanks again for your interesting blog,
